Re: and today i have mostly been...

It's about to have it's first outing of the year, we're orft to Wales next week for some advanced brolly testing, I fear. So it's your fault that it's raining here today! Where are you visiting Doggy? The impressive camper is indeed very impressive, I often dream of having one, or maybe a boa...

Good to hear from you Dai Really doesn't seem like 10 years :o Smart looking vehicule that, bet it's smooth, effortless and surpisingly nippy. Enjoy! You too Doggy. Yeah sorry, I do lurk on here a bit but just don't have much to say these days... 10 years flown by, I remember the excitement ...

Re: My new mowtah

Long time no see folks, how are all doing? Hard to believe that lovely V70 will be 10 years old next week. I promised myself I'd have a new one in 10 years (OK, I picked the V70 up at the end of July so I actually lasted about 6 or 7 weeks short of the 10 years). Aaaaanyway, here the replacement 8) ...

Re: Car for my Daughter to learn in?

How's the Daughter's Insurance looking Welters? Rees Jr's renewal at end of year 2 has come in at 447 with Admiral, which now only equals what we paid for the car. Done all the comparison sites and the cheapest they're finding is 461 so we'll let it renew. I don't think that's too bad actually but I...

Re: Insurance "Black Box" draining battery.

Delighted to report that the job seems to be a good un. Car was untouched for at least 3 weeks including some very cold nights over Christmas, that would have rendered the battery completely flat a couple of months ago. But ma boy just had cause to leave the homestead and she fired up first time, di...

Re: and today i have mostly been...

Right that's me all caught up again. Happy New Year to you all 8) Good path shaky Steve. Glad to hear you're avoiding quake damage. I'm hibernating at the moment, working from home is wearing quite thin but I've become a bit of a hermit, barely setting foot outside. Need to get some exercise...

Re: Insurance "Black Box" draining battery.

Rumor has it that, once opened, an insurance Black Box immediately steals all your personal data, empties your Bank Account, formats the ECU's of all local Volvo's and finally emails all recorded conversations of you dissing family members for the last 12 months to all your contacts. Other than tha...

Re: That COVID - How's it affected you?

A bit late to the party as always... good to hear everyone's coping with this weird year. Generally we've been OK, I've been working from home throughout which I used to quite enjoy, a day or 2 a week. Now it's a bit of a pain. I can count the number of times I've been out for work purposes since Ma...

Re: Insurance "Black Box" draining battery.

Yo Welters, how's tricks me old china? Glad you had a better experience of Smart Wheels than we did, just a speculation but perhaps they treat girls differently to boys? As I said there were a number of occasions where where my lad's car was unfairly penalised for "faults" that hadn't occurred, incl...
