Re: 406 PH2 Electrical faults.
Thanks for the reply mate. I'm gonna try and change the wiper motor some time this month to see if it would help. Thanks alot for all the answers guys. Any ideas on the seat heating? They are both a goner, so i though it would be electrical too? Or are they just prone to fail? I'm gonna have the A/C...

Re: 406 PH2 Electrical faults.
Not sure which one you are thinking about? I can hear a relay for the front wipers, but isnt just the one on/in the BSI? I'm pretty sure all D9's uses BSI to control fronwipers, and only D8's have the old type, correct me if i'm wrong? (I would actually be glad to be wrong, because 600£ for a fix, i...

I guess its a semi mux, its from 2000.
I can def hear a relay for the rear wiper, not sure about the front tho. But it has rain sensor, yea.
Also went thru the coupe foru, but with no luck, ive found a similar problem but without a solution.

Re: 406 PH2 Electrical faults.
I may fail the BSI reset procedure as the button on my key as come off beyond my ownership of the car. But i can still shortcut the key with a little wiring-loop, so i may actually try this (again, but with more caution), i tried it before but i failed to hold the "button" for a full 10 seconds. As ...

Re: 406 PH2 Electrical faults.
The most annoying thing is probably the wiper problem, i've been searching the internet consistently for a solution but without luck. I will try to measure the wiper motor later today maybe. About the A/C i'm going to have it serviced later this month, its probably just the pressure. The seatheaters...

Re: 406 PH2 Electrical faults.
Ive checked out the wiring under the drivers carpet and everything was clean and dry. The BSI was all clean without corrosion, the motherboard inside did not appear to have any damage at all. Wouldnt it show on the board if there had been a shortcut? Would the wiper motor act like this if it were do...

Hello.
Crawling thru the forum for my faults (and solutions) I've stumbled across the CD fix. I'm gonna try that tomorrow and edit this post if it had worked

So i will try to remove the BSI, clean the wiring, and also look under the drivers carpet for the connectors there and clean them. My car is LHD. Hi Guys. Im gonna ask you guys as we dont real...
