406 gone

Hi, sadly I have had to scrap my 406 most comfortable car I have ever had, Clutch was on its way out then came a load of electrical faults finally fuel pump went and wouldn't start again after a new pump, I decided I could not throw any more money at it so it had to go. I hope I can find another but...

Thanks Jasper if I decide to play with it any more I will get in touch, I really like the car I've had it 8 years and I love driving it, most comfortable car I've ever had for motorway driving, but I think it's come to an end, the clutch is on its way out and other things need doing, I can't justify...

2000 110 hdi I'll start at the beginning, went to work no problems, finished work car wouldn't start, obd reader gave code p0380 glow plugs tested glow plug relay ok, removed glow plugs and tested two no good fitted new set glow plugs, still no start. removed fuel pipe turned on ignition no fuel, te...

It wasn't very hard once I figured it out, undo the locking ring push it over the pump so it goes between top of the tank and floor panel, lift the pump at an angle so it goes between the widest cut outs then force it side ways and it pops through. if I knew how I'd do a video and post it

having a whine

removed the in tank fuel pump today, would it have been too much trouble to make hole a little bit f,#*ing bigger, looking at it the actual pump it just clips in but I have to buy the whole assembly. sorry about that I had to get it of my chest.

additive wiring makes sense, mine hasn't got a dpf they probably use the same loom and just leave it redundant, thanks for diagram.

Hi can sanybody tell me which wires are which going to the tank fuel pump, paynes manual only shows an earth and live, there are four wires going to mine, also there is a socket with a few wires in it on top of the tank which is not connected to anything, whats it for?. thanks for any help, oh 2.0 110
