Re: Hdi throttle position sensor

Thanks for your attention to my problems with my motor. Who would've thought it was only a fuel filter. Expect the unexpected and look for fingerprints on the fuel filter. There were none. That was a clue....

Happy days

Re: Hdi throttle position sensor

Thanks for the advice doggy, sorry got your name wrong before.

Yup it's the seimens version.

Will do tomorrow. i imagine in my unskilled mind that if it's the fuel filter housing the leak would be at the top somewhere as its sucking air in.

Bet it's raining.

Re: Hdi throttle position sensor

Maybe wrong but i read somewhere the 110 will not like it but the 90 doesn't seem to care.

Tried it plugged in and got a few miles before the engine started jumping like my mother inlaw on hot coals. (ahhh that was a good evening)

Unplugged her and all was happy.

Re: Hdi throttle position sensor

Yup. When i asked the bloke i bought it from he said it started running funny so he unplugged it.

I get very good mpg plenty of power for a 90hp so i just left it unplugged. Done 80,000 miles like it. Now on 260,000.
