I took the plastic sill trim off this morning and had a good feel around under the carpet (I hadn't got my tools here to strip the seats out and lift it all the way up) and all felt dry. Thanks for the reply Doggy. I'll check the carpets in the morning. I fetched the clocks out this morning to check for a loose connection (I was surprised how easy it was) and there's just one connector block on the right hand side of the clock unit.
