Re: Clarion Radio FM died :-(
Yeah no probs mate I have a reflow station so should not be a problem. The chip is not getting terribly hot but warmer than you would expect. The noises coming out the speaker suggests there was a failure rather than something similar to drys though. Incidental I just tried putting the radio back wi...

Anyway, the FM suddenly died on the head unit :-( I actually repair hifis and have done a little ICE before but not had to tackle something that doesn't have a display, so there...

I suppose they changed the design at some point but didn't change the bodywork :-/ Thought about opening the hole up but do not want to butcher it... I really do hope the str...

Fuel pump removal
Hi folks I want to check the fuel strainer in the tank, but struggling to remove the ring without damaging the raised edges! I know there is a tool available but has anyone come up with a better solution than simply hitting it loose with a screwdriver..?

sold a dud :-(
Hi, just purchased a rather nice 406 Rapier Estate off ebay, 2002, hdi90. 157k on the clock with MOT's to back up. Now, to cut a long story short, it has become apparent that I have purchased a car with a rather poorly engine :-( I noticed on the way back the engine didn't seem to warm up, gauges fo...
