ok, but I suppose the result might be that weaker signals are no longer received, or that you might get distortion in very strong signals. If it saves a radio though all is good :-)

Is it possible that in your case there was a dry joint and while reflowing and bridging the original problem was inadvertently solved?

Did you work it out? I suspect in your case it would mean removing the engine or head..?

Alright so I think I have found the bolts that attach turbo to manifold, however they are rusted solid and hard enough to get too! So I am wondering has anyone else managed to remove the head with the turbo still attached? It would make like a whole lot easier however the Heynes Manual would suggest...
