Re: Engine swap
Jasper, I haven't seen it yet, it could possibly be a 206 or a 307, got to be worth a go as the 207 is mint condition on a 58 plate.

Re: 90bhp hdi tuning anyone do private garage remapping cheap on here
I had a 90 with siemens ecu found it difficult to get mapped so put on a tuning box, it was a great improvement all round, took it to 110 hp, no smoke did over 100k without any bother and easy to fit, eventually scrapped car at 270k needed clutch, cam belt 4 tyres and new wing were missus hit a gate...

Re: More power from HDI90
I had a 90 with a Siemens ecu, I had a TDI tuning box on her, most people don't like these for various reasons and will go for a more expensive re-map, this one takes the bhp up to 115, it transformed the car got rid of the flat spot at low revs, gave more power all through the range and as I fitted...

Worn rear tyres
As the heading says, Iv'e just noticed that the inside of the rear tyres is a lot more worn than the outside and centre, do you need to get the tracking adjusted on the rears, as Iv'e never had to do this on any other car that Iv'e owned. its a 2005 2ltr hdi estate.

Re: 2008 207hdi110
The filter is a sealed unit, I fitted a new one just for the reason that you say, the priming bulb is quite hard and difficult to use (in a v awkward position) so my intention was to fit a NRV and a new priming bulb in a more accessible position, possibly with some clear pipe as on my 406 but its kn...

Slightly O/T but my daughter has the above car, its recently become a intermittent poor starter, I think there is a small air leak and the fuel runs back to the tank over night, I want to fit a NRV as I don't think the one in the priming bulb works, my question is does any one know the internal and ...

Re: fuel filler flap
The same thing has just happened to me the warning light and bleeper is coming on intermittently even though the filler cap is correctly closed, does anyone know the location and colour of the wiring to the filler so I can either cut them or short them out.

fully synthetic oil
Hi my first post hooray! I've been using fully synthetic oil since I bought my 406 about 7 years ago, I usually change it at about 10000 mls but last weekend I was chatting to a mate who has a fairly new seat, he's a rep & does lots of miles but he says there is a sensor on his car that advises when...
