Forgot to mention there's a brand new water pump to go with it, was going to change it at same time as timing belt purely as a precaution but one of the bolts felt like it was going to snapso i left it alone as it wasn't leaking and i didn't have any heat

Yeh that what i first thought although we've had no rain for a while, now today it's working fine, my key is on it's way out got holes in it, tried to get spare sorted but the specialist could'nt do it so if i lose the key or it packs up i'll be scrapping the car cheers for reply

It was a dome shaped washer with the prongs on the outside to hold the water in fuel sensor in place, anyway i couldnt get one so rather than buy a new sensor with clip and seal etc or a whole filter housing ive bodged it and glued it no leaks so far fingers crossed

Yeh iv'e done all that but these are a particular size, the search continues

Hi guys n gals my fuel filter water sensor was leaking so i thought i'd better change the seal, as i prised off the starclip washer it went ping an flew across the road lost forever does anybody know where i can get one from, pug stealers only sell complete sensor for £37, hav'nt had any luck online...

Hi all iv'e got p reg 2.1 td as title i'm after the long hose that goes from sump to inlet manifold it's held in place in the middle with a clamp that's bolted to block, i know it's a long shot but at pug dealers they're on back order could be two weeks, cheers mdears
