Courtesy lights

OK so I thought the front courtesy light in the 406 didn't work. Turns out it does, but it doesn't switch off when the door is closed. Would this be a faulty sensor or something like that?

Thanks for any and all help, guys.

Volvo 440

Hi all, I thought I would share my experience of these. I had two during the mid-2000s: a battered 1.8 petrol and a slightly nicer 1.9 turbo diesel. It all started when my first car, a bit of a mess of a D reg Micra (I didn't become a motorist until I was about 26) was coming up for MOT. The previou...

Trims

Hi all,

Looking for two 15" Peugeot wheel trims if anyone has something suitable. Would look out for alloys, were it not for the insurance complications.

Front bumper

Hi all,

Looking for a silver front bumper to fit D9 saloon, if anyone has one. Free of scuffs would be a bonus, but most things would be better than the battered one that's one there!

Mats

Looking for a set of Peugeot mats to go with 406 D9 saloon, if anyone has a set. Ideally they would be fairly smart but don't need to be new.

Hi all,

Sorry for newbie question.

I found a picture I wanted to use as my avatar on this board but can't work out how to upload it. Have looked through all the options in the user CP. Could anyone help, please?

Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover

Hi all, This may be a bone stupid question. I have used the above product a number of times on cars that haven't been washed for a while, as is the case with the 406. It seems to work well, just requiring a long time and a lot of water to help it along. My question is: from what I can remember from ...

Re: 406oc.co.uk Club Stickers

Hi Dai,

Have sent you an order through Paypal. Do let me know if anything's wrong with it. Thanks for doing this.

Looking forward to the car looking super smart with its new look.

Trim

Hi all, The beast has two bits of trim with issues: a) the strip at the bottom of the driver's door window (loose) b) the bump strip on the rear driver's side door (missing, but attaching bits still lodged in the door). Please could anyone advise on how difficult these items are to replace? Regards ...

Front bumpter

Hi all,

So I have a D9 silver 1.8 16v saloon (well, my Dad does, I'm borrowing it and trying to fix it for him in the process). Half the front bumper is missing, so I'd like to get a new one and attach it. Could anyone tell me how difficult a task this is?

Oil and service intervals

Hi all, Having had a squiz at the Peugeot owner's manual, it says something about the correct type and grade of oil being essential to the smooth running of the engine given the extended service intervals. I know that's true to a greater or lesser extent for all cars, but the handbook seems to make ...
