Hi In the past week or two my '98 V6 Estate has started being a pain in the arse - I thought that it was just down to the sub-zero morning frosts but it's doing it now whenever the engine is cold. the 98 v6 sounds like its been modified even though its completely standard. put your foot down in 2nd in the wet and you'd end up on the limiter in seconds, do that in the mk2 v6 with the TC off and you just accelerate, it's bollocks really. never mind eh, more power at the top end! will i have problems at all with the laquer i was going to use tcut but was told not to if i sand it with p2000 do i just do it along the scratch. what is fareda i havent seen it before. all this because of a neighbourly disupute about a fence You know who did it then? Thanks Malachy this is useful advice. They claimed to have only used genuine Pug parts, so would my nearest dealer be the place to phone up and find out? yes phone them up and ask for a cambelt kit and water pump for your car, they will ask reg etc and be able to inform you.
