Re: ABS control module - Are there differences?

Just a guess without any research on the matter, but I would expect the control module to be in only 2 versions (with and without ESP as per PP2000)

Number of teeth - provided that they are the same on each wheel - does not matter because the signal is used. More teeth = higher frequency that is all.

Re: Air Compressor Advice

I discovered that on full lock, there is sufficient space to remove the crankshaft pulley using a CEW 1000 - very handy because my extension lead was just that bit too short so had to drive the car a bit closer whilst I loosened the bolt then drive it back to clear the way. :)

Should be easy to design - implementation may be harder

Re: Q: How to perform a continuity test on an ABS sensor

On the dial between the 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions you have the resistance settings. Select the first one (9 o'clock) that says 2000k - the display should say something (open circuit, no continuity). Touch the probes together and the displat will read 0.00 (short circuit, good continuity) Con...

Simple answer is "signalling equipment"

Better answer is

Re: Inside a PSA assembly line

I think any reliability issues that arise from PSA cars have nothing to do with the assembly line its the accountants and engineers who design the things, whoever decided a com2000, Multiplex wiring, and dampened crankshaft pulley were good ideas are partially to blame, the people on the assembly l...
