Hi, Sorry if this information is already listed somewhere, I have searched and can't find it... I have a T reg 406 GLX with the 1998cc engine, first registered in March 1999. Sorry I never got back about this; Life got in the way...
I carried on with it for a while and then just took it to a local garage I use. He fitted a new starter motor for about £100. He also said he had to replace some melted wiring!
No problems since.
