As far as I'm aware eml on on any car is classed as a fail.

My 924 passed with ate racing blue. shame it's no longer made in blue, had to put the straw colour typ 200 in last time I changed it.

Be wary of problems throwing up an eml, if it comes om during the mot it will fail. And for the more dodgy people out there taking the bulb out won't get you through as they check all the warning lights work as part of the test now.
