Re: N/s rear door
Are the door mechanisms on the rear passenger doors of an estate the same as the front passenger doors, just need to know if mine is damaged from the accident I may need to get one quick . The door at the moment will not open from the outside but opens from the inside.

Re: N/s rear door
Got a good guy to paint the second hand door skin and swap over my internals and fit it for £250 as a quote which I have said ok to. The car will now be classed as an N for insurance classification since it was uneconomical to repair and I bought it back. Its going in his garage next month.

Hi, the colour is samarkan blue. They are getting fewer every month, I was hoping to get a complete one but can get a second hand skin for about £40/50 quid then transfer the inside parts of mine from ebay. Thanks for your reply.

Re: sluggish starting
Found the culprit, took earth leads off from battery to chassis and to starter motor bolt, filed them and copper slip then back together. starter motor spins faster and central locking works faster. To look at they seemed fine .

Re: sluggish starting
I see what you mean, i asked the electrician to check all that, I could see that many things have been turned on in the car to test the output of the alternator and everything is working as it should. If its an intermittent fault then I will have to wait till things get worse he says.

Re: sluggish starting
Not got a meter steve , what were you thinking of ? I am thinking aftermarket starter but also more to the idea something is drawing the power. Left battery connector off last night and will do that for a week or two and see if it extends the battery life, its just a thought
