PP2000 or Diagbox 9.85, 9.91, etc
What would be the best software for a 2003 HDI, my missus has just got herself a new Mac and was going to junk her hp Pavilion Core i3 2.5GHz 8GB 1TB. Seeing as it was free I thought I could stand the cost of an A.1281 Z interface gizmo and use her old laptop as a diagnostic tool for my old HDI. The...

Re: Brembo conversion
Thanks for the info, I think at this point in time I'm led more by cost. I have a set of Brembo's but guess even a set of spacers and new hoses will cost more than some recon standard caliper's. My 406 is a 2003 estate and I've always found the standard brakes a little poor for the weight of the car...

Re: Brembo conversion
I'm sure my 6 1/2J Hoggar's are ET20 and the coupe's are ET12 so guess they are not going to fit with my wheels.

Brembo conversion
I am at the point where the front discs need replacing and the standard caliper's could do with a rebuild or replacing, I don't want to land up with the expense of replacing the wheels to do the Brembo conversion and wondered if my original 6 1/2J Hoggar's will fit over the Brembo caliper's? I under...

Electric mirror broken wire
I seem to have lost the passenger side (RHD) up movement on my 2003 110 executive door mirror and suspect the drivers side door loom. The upwards movement will sometime operate when the front, drivers side door is open but stops when the door is shut leading me to think there is a broken wire in the...

PO300 code
I recently had water in the drivers side footwell which caused quite a few electrical issues, mostly back to normal now but I am getting a recurring P0300 code which can sometimes drop the car into limp mode. Scan the system and remove the P0300 fault and off we go again for a bit. The odd thing is ...

Re: Headlight levelling motors
There is a manual adjuster on each of my motors, a small cross head screw recessed into the top of the adjuster motor so you can fine tune them when assembled into the headlamp if they are not quite synchronised when fitted.

Re: Rear anti-roll bar bush sizes
That's a great help Frog, thank you
It's 24mm front and 22mm rear so I'll get them ordered up. Is there any recommendations on the best make or are they all much the same quality?

Re: Rear anti-roll bar bush sizes
Thanks Frog, that confirms 24mm for the front bushes which is good news. Number six on the first diagram I would call a tie rod, this would be to adjust toe in/out on the rear wheels via the eccentric adjuster. It's strange that the first diagram doesn't show the rear anti-roll bar, bushes and drop ...

Hi Frog, thanks for helping me out again
I did try the build code translator but nothing seemed to show
up. Here is a pic of my pillar sticker, maybe it will help. Thanks again

Re: Rear anti-roll bar bush sizes
Would anyone be able to advise on rear and front anti roll bar bush sizes for a 2003 2.0 HDI estate with chassis #VF38EHRZR81627433 please. I would like to order the bushes before any dismantling is done, I'm guessing 22mm rear and 24mm front but a definitive answer would be great.
Thanks in advance.

Rear anti-roll bar bush sizes
It's time to do the ARB bushes on the rear and looking around there seems to be 21mm, 21.5mm and 22mm inner diameter bushes available. Did the diameter of the bar vary in manufacture over the years or do the different sizes simply take into account possible wear on the bar?
Thanks in advance, Paul.
