Re: My D8 V6 Exec on eBay

I've got all the high res pics now, and emailed those that have asked for them. Turbo's never will be smooth, especially if you crank the boost up enough to have "The Great Wall of Torque" (visible from space) that suddenly erupts when it decides to wake up. There's a quote somewhere about Chief Eng...

Re: My D8 V6 Exec on eBay

I can honestly say that the fill-up and mileage bit is true! The mrs. doesn't have a heavy right foot, so...YMMV as they say! Ah the bit about the coupé seats :) Have you seen those orrible sofas they put in the 2 doors? Looks like a 70's fest. I find the saloon seats better styled and better fittin...

My D8 V6 Exec on eBay

Well, she's been great since ownership, and done me and the Mrs proud. Mrs. has a longer drive into work now, so unfortunately she's gotta go (the car, not the Mrs I'm afraid :( ).

Guys & gals, Thinking about selling up the Pug early next year, but as I have been completely unable to find any pricing anywhere for this specific model, I thought I'd ask on here first - whats it worth? Yes couldn't believe it - we were after another 4x4, but got near the auction end and no one was interested in 3 or so 406's that came through. I spotted this one and didn't know too much about them to be honest, just the full service and 4 doors is all I saw. One other bidder other than me, and he ...

:? never knew there was such an animal! Only thing she lacks for toys is the trip computer, but I see there are some nice threads on here that I shall be raiding shortly for that. Wellie - yes pretty much it :) I have had 2 tiptronic GR's - both lovely machines that should have kept, but money issue...

newbie and a question!

Hi guys, Just a quick intro - I'm Andy (duh!) and I recently bought a '98 FPSH 406 V6 executive in deep metallic blue from Tewkesbury car auctions for the princely sum of £400. She is straight as a die, leather absolutely immaculate, 109k miles on the clock (FPSH up to 106k miles) and I'm very happy...
