Is the fluid level ok welly? Mine went heavy suddenly just after xmas, noticed the level was low, topped it up and it's was fine, and still is now. Thought perhaps there was a leak but touching wood i've not had to top it up again since. Didnt know 406's had Speed Sencing PAS, something to test on m...

My 405 did the same thing, the problem ... pettels! not only did they give my car pink dots, they bunged up the drain holes that are either side of the 'troff' at the rear of the engine bay, where the air intake for the cabin is are d8's the same?. It would fill with water, then run down into the ai...

My co-worker has just been to a BP garage, i wont say where, he got chatting and he was shown a document showing that on the 1st of july diesel will be £1.50 per ltr!!!!!!

I've noticed my MPG dropping to about 44 when it's usualy about 50 thinking about it, I'm getting some new rubber next week, i'm hopeing that will improve it a little. i have AC on all the time usualy set at 20

i'm about 6ft3-4, the 406 is a comfee car, i've got my seat pivot quite far back as i have long arms ( all the better for grabbing...i mean hugging you with my dear :twisted: ) Seat is to the ground, I usualy rest my right arm on the window sil with my hand on the wheel just near the remote pressing...

Just done:

E.on electric bill 775 units = £140.13

SSE same bill 775 units = £87.12

saved them £53.01 per quarter! or approx £210 per year :cheesy:

when it was in the 0.90's for fuel i used to brim the tank. but now, i keep it about 40-50% full, as i feel the extra weight will affect my MPG and make me burn more fuel! .. Altho i've just contridicted myself as last night i drove with 'passion' and got 25mpg out of a HDi :S .. boys will be boys :...

I had the same problem on my 1.9 TD 306, after much faffing about with the clip and the O ring, i just went to the main stealers and got a new pipe. took the old one off showing little to no mercy and installed the new one.

Most D9's are Multiplexed ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiplexing ) arn't they? meaning: :shock: :| I think anything can cause it :( as it seems to be a wide range of happenings, try the ECU connector, BSI Connector, unplug the CD changer.
