As the ever wise Jasper says, on cars this cheap it's best to leave it alone and enjoy your very cheap and splendid car for what it is, a comfortable cruising machine.

I agree with Steve on this. Both petrol and diesels have lots of electronic engine management stuff and I would be hard pressed to say which was likely to cause less problems. Going back to the original topic, I to would go with the MAF, but similar issues could point to the TPS, throttle position s...

My original hdi did this once and never again. Consequentially I never did find out why. Although the mat could well be involved.

I've picked up various sized Stanley plastic tool chests and have found them to be excellent. The ones I like have big soft rubber feet and corners that don't damage things to badly when they hit them.

20th March 2013 was when the advisory period expired.
It's a problem we get all the time. It's so difficult to keep up with all the changes. Things that haven't worked for years must now work.

Have you read the new mot regulations? We have had a few fail for disconnected eml lights now. It changed this year sometime.

Take the bulb, or led out will make it fail the mot. As we said, you never know your luck, the fault codes might reveal the answer.

You really need to get the fault codes read. This might give you an early clue to a problem that could stop you getting home one day.
