well i just started the car in the warehouse and the gauge very slowly went up to the half way mark and now when i switch off and on it goes to that mark and i can see the needle very slightly swaying..strange. however when i gave the top of the dashboard a good thump the fuel gauge illumination wen...

fuel gauge (or lack of)
hi,came to work tonight and fuel gauge reading three quarters,pulled the car in to the warehouse for the night and suddenly fuel gauge only goes up into the red and fuel light is on and low fuel warning on display.have checked for leaks but bone dry.put £40 in last night....any ideas chaps?

hi,my d9 hdi glx has the same thing..no trip function or mpg function and has no push bit on the stalk but in the setting menu it has an MPH setting but no mpg setting.are you sure it said mpg and not mph.

as title,i am going to the breakers tomorrow for a window switch unit and fancy a walnut effect ashtray unit so are they model specific or can i get one out of an older model and put it in mine.

dont know if this has already been on here but a search found nothing so it might come in handy to see if the annoying chav up the road with the bin lid exhaust and 3000 watt sound system is insured.

42 years old,clean license,more than 9 years ncb,fully comp for me and my wife with ncb protected..£211.45 with bullseye insurance from swinton all found on confused.com.

Toyota Avensis 2.2 D-4D T Spirit or the mondeo tdci,i have driven them both quite a lot as we give them to our reps and the ford is better than the toyota engine wise but the toyota has the luxury factor and just feels better built.

yeah that`s what i thought,maybe they had fleeced him enough already and were starting to feel a wee bit sorry for him or maybe it`s the fact that we live in a backwater hick town where the average labour charge (non franchised) is £20-£25 per hour.
