Re: New guy with seven seat question-wrong place?
Key thing to point out is that between the D8 and the D9 they changed the nutsert size in the boot the d8 are unf thread and the D9 are M10x1.5 so a bolt kit might be in order. I fitted a seven seater kit in my Pug-hearse back in December and The biggest hiccup was I needed to tap the holes out as t...

Re: High level brake light not working
What car spec you got Paul? I know the later 406s have a fuse for it tied up with a couple of other nicknacks which might help pin point it.

Re: Cruise control 2003 406S estate installation.
Thanks Doggy, I got two brake switches now. A red one and a white one. When you say coherence, is one ment to be advanced compared to the other by means of adjusting the gap? As I think this is the thing I'm chasing.
Thanks again.

Cruise control 2003 406S estate installation.
Hi guys hope your all well! I had a wacky idea to install cruise control. Having done some homework it seemed all that was needed was to plug the stalk in and PP2000 it up. I bought a cruise control stalk from an SE 406. It is the non limiting type 6242Z9? I have switches in the pedal box for clutch...

Gone through 'the change' D8->D9 -MPGS??
Morning all, My D8 1.9dt started to show signs of getting old so I let her go. Now I have an 03 406 HDi s 110BHP Est. I'll be honest I wept when I left the ol' girl behind on the forecourt. I have a question regarding fuel economy and I can hear the groan now. My MFD is saying I am doing 36.7MPG and...

Re: 1.9 idle adjustment
I had issues with mine not so long ago D8 1900D she was running very rough and had flat spots all through her gears. I found out the cold start ignition advance solinoid was fubarred kicking out 300ohms instead of a happy 20-30ohms across the poles. I have bypassed this valve for now pulling the pip...
