Immobiliser

Hello all. I've a 2001 2.0HDi (90 horse) estate that has thrown up an immobiliser fault The car has been lying up for a while having been replaced so I went out to start it yesterday and it was dead. Tried to jump start it but no-joy. Took the battery out and charged it overnight. Replaced the batte...

Re: Wiper Problem

Sorry for not getting back sooner. The relays in my car were in a seperate box at the front of the fuse box. Took them out and checked them finding one with all the contacts corroded. Went into town to get a replacement, fitted it and still no joy. Eventually went down the road of getting a new fuse...

Re: Wiper Problem

Hi folks Thanks for the replys. I've checked the power going to the wiper motor and there's only the constant 12V supply going there. I'm getting nothing on the other 2 lines. Was thinking either Com2000 or BSI so bit the bullet and took it to a main dealer today for diagnostic check. They've said t...

Re: Battery Query

To be honest lads, the leads are just a cheap set that I bought a while back just to have in the car in case of an emergency. Regarding the battery / starting. The dash is lighting up and the car will turn over but won't fire up on very cold morns. The more attempts at trying to start e.g. after fou...

Battery Query

Hello all, quick query for ye, (2001 90HDi) Been having starting problems lately, had the battery load checked and it seemed to be fine. Had the heater plugs replaced as I had them checked and they were knackered. Thought that should have sorted my starting problem but still no joy. This morning I h...

Re: Cold Start Question

Last night was down around 0 or maybe a little bit lower.

Evenings are better but it's just not as instantaneous as it was

Re: Cold Start Question

Turn over or fire up? I mean, is it cranking slowly or turning normally and just not firing? If it's the former then maybe you battery could do with a wee charge, if the latter perhaps, now that they actually do something*, there's a problem with your glowplugs. *I guess they're doing something, it...

Re: Cold Start Question

My 01 HDi (90) has been a bit sluggish starting over the last few weeks (probably since the dark mornings and evenings) i.e. it's been taking a lot longer to turn over.

This morning was the first real cold snap where I live and it took me ages to fire up. Any ideas?

Re: Remote locking reset query

2 buttons. Just metered both. All OK. Had a look at the solder joints aswell, SMT components so hard to see but they look OK too. I'm at a loss with this one!!!

There's no light on my key, and I've tried the reset but no joy, that is if I'm doing it right :? :? (see above)

Remote locking reset query

Howya all? Have a 2001 406 HDi that the remote locking won't work on. Battery is fine in the remote. Tries the reset procedure http://bba-reman.com/content.aspx?content=Peugeot_307_BSI_Body_Control_Module but still no joy. Line 8 of that procedure states hold the lock button for 10 secs, is this wit...
