Re: Pug 406 2.1td & Mazda 323GT 1.8 going cheap

Happy to take around £275,00 for the Pug if that is more appealing

10 months MOTs and 4 months tax makes this an ideal runaround/workhorse for silly money ir a viable parts donor car

Re: bollox - think my head gasket has gone

I am not keen to spend any serious money on this car, its value is low andit could easily become a money pit. I have purchased and used some K-seal and after 100 miles it seems fine, no leaks from the rad and no more emulsion in the tank or high pressure either a few more miles will tell and this co...

bollox - think my head gasket has gone

There is a small amount of waxy cream coloured cr@p in the water tank, could it be anything else that would cause that? The oil is clean so no water getting into the oil, more the other way around. Assuming it has...

Re: 406 2.1td loosing water

Right then, just cleaned up and it is still leaking, run out of light and energy and have an interesting and painful collection of cuts on both hands Plan B Blue hylomar to seal, it is the surface of the hose fitting that is corroded and uneven I think the socket has a little wear in it from the cor...
