anyone know whats involved in fitting leather seats to a p reg 406 saloon are there wires there for the motors or will i have to wire them up myself??

top work dont think i would have sorted this one with out this post car is now running fine and didnt even need a sensor thanx a mill

ok defanatly have the same prob as you had tryed changing the gaskets on the thermo housing and still the prob did you change the sensor at the same time as the therom gaskets ?? this is doing my head in

i got it for 355 checked the history and its as it says 62k checked the old mots as well and they check out it did need a cluch but that was done in a afternoon just need to get 1 other problem sorted and thats it

its a 2ltr 16v glx

i have a p reg 1997 406 with 62k fsh 12months mot 6 months tax body work in very good condition whats it worth ??

why would that problem cause the car not to go past 4k when hot???

how bad was the leak i cant see mine spraying coolant but there is coolant on the gear box

sounds like i am having the same prob in my 406 2lt p reg when car is cold its fine but when hot wont go past 4k will have to check the thromstat housing hope this will fix my prob as well did think i seen some coollant on top of the gear box

sorry its hard to explain the clutch is new it pulls fine up to about 3k then you get no power and a kangaroo effect in 4th it will pick up again about 4k and pull ok to about 90 but 5th it wont go over 3k the rev bounce like its hitting the limiter. how to i reset the ect ??

i am new to the peugeot 406 i have a p reg 2.0 non turbo
the problem i am getting is when i put the foot down the revs start bouncing about like its red lining
down low in the revs its fine but over 3 you get a loss of power and in 5th it wont go over 4k anyone got any ideas??
