HDI Speedo and other glitches
Hi I have a 2002 90 HDI. The speedo stopped working recently but has returned albeit erratically. At rest it will move when the car is revved. This has caused it to fail its NCT(Irish MOT). My mechanic thinks its the sender and has ordered one but is this likely if revving the car in neutral affects...

While trying to diagnose a weird braking fault I have I think I've made my 406 lose power. Sound like turbo loss from reading other posts. 90 Hdi Braking problems
Hi I have just joined the forum. I have a 2002 406 90 Hdi rapier model. On three occasions over the past year the servo has failed to kick in during braking. The brake pedal felt the same as if engine was switched off - rock hard. Had a local Peugeot garage look at it but they found nothing unusual....
