Re: Seat memory not working
Holding the M button down and pressing the number I wanted worked a treat… thanks guys.
The manual is misleading. It says to "simultaneously" press the buttons.

Seat memory not working
I can’t seem to overwrite the settings in the seat memory on my 1.9TD exec It will move to setting 1 or 2, but I cannot change either of those settings from how the previous owner had it. I have tried doing what the manual says pressing the M button and the number I want to change alternately until ...

Re: Heated seats not working
Hey there, I saw these and thought they might be worth a go: http://www.waeco.co.uk/shop/details.aspx?c=3&s=3&i=12&p=309 They have 2 heat settings. Of course you would need to use their wiring and mount their switch in the car somewhere if you wanted to make use of both heat settings. I was thinking...

Re: Heated seats not working
I think when it’s a nice day and I’m in the mood I might get the seat off and take a look at what’s what. If it looks too complicated I might go and see if I can get a quote from an upholsterer
DaiRees… I’m in Surrey, so it’s a bit far for me to go ;). Thanks anyway.

Re: Heated seats not working
Thanks for the replies guys. I might give it a go as the next winter approaches. Seems silly doing it now when it’s going to start getting warmer again (I hope!) It is a feature I could live without, it’s just that I get pissed off when things don’t work. Welton… do you mean like an upholster?

Re: Heated seats not working
Sorry to resurrect an old thread :) How difficult was it to replace the heating elements once the seat was off Neil? I don’t have a coupe like yourself, but I can’t imagine it would be a great deal different. The universal heated seat kits are only about 50 quid and come with 2 base and 2 back eleme...

Re: Multi function display won’t change
I guess it’s a pretend button then. I’ll check for the 2 arrows later when I get back to the car.
I just noticed it in the user manual and thought I’d have a go. I’ve not had the car long so I’m still getting to know what’s what

Re: Multi function display won’t change
Hmm… I take it miles covered and all the rest of it should be displaying still though? Or am I only ever going to get outside air temp?
The button is on the stalk, it must be there for a reason.

Multi function display won’t change
Hi guys, The computer that displays the outside temp, mpg and all that stuff won’t change when I press the button on the end of the stalk. It is on outside temperature all the time. Does anybody know where to look for the fault? I was thinking the button on the stalk wasn’t working properly an...

Re: My head is still powered when ignition is off?
Now that has to be worth a look when I get homemjb wrote:Easier answer is check the fusebox. There's 3 pins on the sockets for the stereo and cigarette lighter fuses which let you put the fuse in one position for permanent on and another position for on with ignition
