P/ex-ed my 406 2003 90Hdi A/C & Satnav
Hi Guys. Well I have been a member here for a while, but not contributed much. I had 20 years driving Vauxhall Astra's and Vectra's as a company car driver. I gave up doing 30K/35K miles a year to stand in a workshop all day. Things did'nt go all to plan and I am now on my 3rd different job in 20 Mo...

Re: 2ND OPINION NEEDED
Well done on winning the Radio.
You need to choose the correct changer, not sure I can be much help, but it is vital to get a CD Changer with the correct socket to match the plug on the cable in your boot.
Some of these cd changers are cheap enough on eBay.
Here is ONE near you.

2cronicles
It was this item, but it went two hours ago.
It seems to have been only the Cassette/Radio in the auction, but it mentoned the CD Changer in the text.
Bad luck if it was not you that won it.

Re: Auxillary to mp3 player connector
On the subject of the software needing updating when adding an Aux input. As far as I know my car has never had a CD changer fitted. Well I think it has not, there is no mounting gear or hole cut in the boot lining, Just the cable with the blue plug in the boot. However adding the Connects2 Aux inpu...

Re: Auxillary to mp3 player connector
Hi, have a look at this eBay auction. This might be suitable, but you need to do your homework first, and find the model No of your radio first. The auction above has a link to: http://www.incaripod.com/Vehicle/Honda/Honda_Auxiliary_Audio_Input_Interface which has more infomation, but this also appe...

Re: Standard CD Changers
I looked at fitting a CD changer (2003 HDI Saloon), but in the end fitted an Aux input.
You can get far more music in an MP3 player than 6 CD's, plus I use mine with a portable DAB radio.
Planet Rock rules in my Pug.

Re: Phillips Extreme Power H7 bulbs fitted
Hi all. Just to update the bulb question i posed a month ago. I replaced the bulbs again with proper ones made by ring and bought in a shop. I compaired the faulty ones and the new ones. The glass of the faulty ones is about 2 to 3mm longer (that the good, new ones) and the element was also 2 to 3mm...

Re: S. Hall Motors Birkenhead
Bought my pug from Hall's last March, 1st car I've actually owned in 20 years, had been company car driver since last owning a Renault 18 in 1988!
I was also checking just how much I still owe on my car finance loan compared to how much the car is probably worth now. Scary!!!

S. Hall Motors Birkenhead
Anyone from Wirral or Liverpool noticed that the S. Hall Motors Peugeot showroom/workshop in Birkenhead, on A41 just before the Tunnel entrance/exit, seems to have closed? I thought the place loooked a bit bare over Christmas, but it looks abandoned now. Nothing found doing a Google, just the other ...

Re: Auxillary input?
Hi all, I have finally tried the Connects 2 adaptor thingy. I decided to ask No.1 wife for one instead of getting the usual CD's and other stuff I dont need for Christmas. Cheapest one I found is here; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=160304684996 It is a...

Re: Auxillary input?
I asked a similar question to a shop on eBay which makes and sells adaptor cables which allow the CD-changer socket on the head unit to become an Aux input instead. He said no way can it be done on my headunit, which is a shame. SOMEBODY must know how it can be done.
