when you Say PCB what actually do you mean, cos when i take the clocks out there in three pieces, theres the back with wires plugged in to it then that has some sort of rods on it sticking out and the middle has holes in that the rods sit in ?

Yeah tried that when i had them out, had a good fiddle about with them to see if something would give me a clue but nothing, frustrating or what, looks like its a set of new clocks

Righto, Thanks for all your help and knowledge, it seems to still be doing it so im assuming the clocks are buggered, everything else works fine just the speedoand rev counter, does anyone know of anyone with some deisel clocks for an N reg, belive its a mk1

Idle Problem
Having a bit of an Idle problem on my 406 1.9TD it likes to rev slightly high, sounds absolutly terrible, i cant give you proper facts on high much it over revs at the minute cos the rev counters on the blink, is there an adjustable idle screw or some sort of screw on the fuel pump to slow things do...

The speedo and rev counter have a mind of their own, they like to stay at 2.500rpm and 40mph when ever im going anywhere untill i give the top of the dash a few quick headbutts then its starts working properly, only for them to return back th there desired position later on when im not looking.
