Thanks puggy, do you know if it is the transponder or key what i would need fro a donor car to get it going,would it be the transponder ring and keyfob or would i require ecu and the reciver.sorry to be a pain but im struggling.

Thanks puggy and teamster, that certainly got the keyfob to lock and unlock the doors,but i still have the immobiliser symbol on.The car is turning over no ppbs and you can hear the pump kicking in when you turn on the ignition. the battery was changed by the prev.owner last week might be worth whil...

went down to check this car for myself and it has an immobiliser light on a square with a key, is there anyway to bypass the immobiliser to get it driving and then it could be put onto the diagnostics at the local garage.
