Re: Wishbones and wheel bearing

Don't have any experience with the bushes, but the rear bearing, you have to buy the whole hub assembly - make sure you get the correct amount of teeth on the ABS ring if your car has ABS fitted.
Rear hub I didn't do myself, but my mate who is a mechanic changed 2 in 40 minutes.

Re: New HDI - few issues

If it sounds like a jet engine, my first point of call would be to check all connections to the turbo

Re: d9 interior

Weather hasn't been kind enough lately, but tonight after work, fitted the passenger seat in, and simply powered it up to fit and set it into position.

Only problem was the plug for the seat belt pre tensioners was different, so now have air bag light flashing away.

What is it when they spin round then?

I've had them where they didn't turn, and used wd40 to free them up before, but lately the drivers lock has started spinning and takes a few attempts to get it to work :?:

Re: Retro fit Cruise control

Is this a D9 only option??

I drive a lorry a lot, and as stated with the average speed cameras, it's great to be able to set it to 52/53mph to get through the 50mph zone as quick as you can without being had.

Re: Heating fan issue.

I know it's one of the 50A fuses in the engine bay fuse box, as my heater has been intermittent, with the odd kick to the back of the glove box. Did get underneath about 4 months ago and get a better fit on the connection and worked fine, then one day last month, it packed up totally, and when check...

Re: INDIGLO plasma Speedo Dials

If I can sort out getting mine scanned, then as mentioned on coupe club i'm interested, as have a 5 dial d8 dash with oil level ( not temp) Add your interest in on the thread :) http://www.peugeot406coupe.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=28737 Until I get the scan done, it seems pointless as my info won'...

Re: What's wrong with your Pug?

In last few weeks: Had the heater fan wires fuse together where the connector block fell apart. Luckily only blew the 50a fuse, but cost me £40 to get it rewired back up Brakes went a bit suspect, and problem was yokes had seized up, so had to have new discs, pads, and yokes - upon inspection, road ...

Re: bulbs blown in stereo display and clock

Just be careful if buying from a motor factors as some of them, the holder part is a lot deeper. I went in to the one my mate works at, and the ones he sold were too deep, so as he had no other customers, took mine apart and fitted 286 bulbs into them - £1.99 retail for 2, but he gives me discount, ...
