thanks for info, doesnt make a noise at all, not sure if it anything to do with going through carwash with undercar jets to clean underneath as well as body seemed to be fine on friday

washer / squirters just stopped working on my 2.0 HDI 406 (53 plate) the wipers themselves working finr just not squirting i have checked fuses seem ok but cannot find where motor is and cannot hear the sound when squirting, naturally i checked and filled up with new screen wash in the reservoir any...

i getting similar noise now on my 2.ol hdi, most noticable with driver window down, stealer quoted £100 for part prob plus vat, is it easy to do myself or better getting garage to do

local stealer had one on the shelf, changed it and just filled with water ran it 100 miles ok, then got 2 litres of antifreeze from stealer and replaced.

Not as green as the one in the pics though, what is it ?

have a thing about it being right colour, blue just isnt right, . . .thats for leds lol

would be useful if a light came on the dash to say is on or not they can do it in the vectra

Ha, today it did overheat just as i got to work stop light came on and temp very high. Got RAC to look at it said was a large airlock stopping water from circulating, lots of foam came out when bleeding system - not sure if that due to radiator sealant or egg whites lol. guys, any ideas my coolant light came on topped it up each day now for about a week light sometimes comes on or maybe not at all but serious amount of coolant seems to be disappearing. Checked under bonnet even with engine hot cant see any leaks anywhere. If i loosen bleed screw on radiator coolant ...

can you just look at them like spark plugs and decide if fooked and change them, and if so do you change all at same time

How can i tell if my glowplugs need changing ? is my first diesel so not sure hopefully i dont have to wait until weather gets bad to find out when doesnt start, :)

i got one which supposed to work via lappie, only problem is pug disel only compatible from 2004, b@stard i got a 53 plate 2003. could keep for a rainy day or use on old fellas car. There is a hand held unit that works with pug before this date but £288 v £23

snooze control started working again today :lol: :lol: and sprayed some wd40 behind mirror not sure if it "fixed" but went from -10 to +12 which felt about right :)

yes was told the "crumple zone" had done its job f@ck me had 3 bonnets on it crumple zone went all way to back of car :cheesy: apparantly facelift did not have a crash rating so could no longer be brought into UK except for spares , good job i had it as company car :lol: ended up delocked and dehand...
