I have bought a remote control unit for my central locking and wired it to the passenger side door but it didnt work (maybe I connected the lock / unlock wires round the wrong way , I will be giving it a try again over the weekend but want to know if it is ok to connect it to the drivers side or doe...

its a 2l HDi , the power drop is very very tiny its no like a limp home mode , any sensors etc i need to check?

Strange one here every now and then my speedo drops to zero and at the same time the power drops only a tiny fraction as though I have lightly lifted my right foot , I can still accelerate etc , after a while the speedo cmes back and I feel the power come back. Any ideas?
