I have tried the silicon grease. It did not work, so I have sourced a window motor and now await a Hayes manual before fitting.

osf Window operation - Rain....
Hi all, I'm having window issues, the car is a 2001 406 estate - The driver's window (operation) is exceptionally intermittent. The electric switch makes its way to the window about 5% of the time. I press for the window to go up and it has its own mind and goes down...Not much fun when it is rainin...
