Factory Fitted Immobiliser?
Could anyone tell me if my x-reg(2000), 406 glx hdi(110) saloon would have been fitted with an alarm/immobiliser or both as standard spec when new?

Re: Anti Pollution Fault - 2.2 HDi
Had this problem (anti-pollution fault),on same day as you and in very similar conditions. Only difference is it was after i ran it out of fuel (retarded I know) To cut a long story short, it was water in the fuel that caused the problem, so I drained the fuel filter and is back to normal now. Hope ...

Re: Running on empty....
In theory you will get better fuel consumption by only half filling, as you are carrying less wieght around with you.

Re: Key fob Question
**UPDATE**
Put new battery in fob still no joy, should the light work on it when the button is pressed?
If so, is this a sign of the fob being dead?
All feedback will be much appreciated, thank you x

Re: Door lock
Sounds like it maybe a design fault, as the rear offside door on my 406 is dodge too, once it wouldn't open, after being shut (by some retard) with the seat belt 'in it'. I just kept locking and unlocking it until it decided to open, eventually! It unlocks and opens fine now, but when you try to shu...

Key fob Question
Basically, my pug came with to keys, and you have to use both of them. One has no button on it for the central locking, which is used to open the doors. The other has the button(which actually doesnt work atm, more on that in a min!) this is used for the ignition and for the glove box etc. I've noti...

Hey, I assume these forums are much the same as others, and its customary to say hello and introduce yourself and all that! Anyway my names Jon, and I've just popped my Pug cherry and bought a X-reg 406 glx hti(110), First impressions of it far surpast my expectations, and the unjustified prejudice ...
