cant get my key to sync , its been away and had the buttons replaced and the fella assures me that it should only need a re- sync not programing . i have tried all the ways stated in autodata and still no joy . odd thing is one wauy says hold the lock button untill the light goes out , no matter ho...

Thanks for the info :cheesy: me and the multi meter will be outside as soon as the rain stops 8) .
interestingly cant find another hdi110 in any scrap yard within fifty miles , this means either they are all running of not even a scrap yard will touch them

OK sooooo sprayed some carb cleaner down the MAF and its better but still not right, However she is sluggish (slightly ) up to 1800rpm then away she goes pulling like a train then runs out of steam at about 4000 rpm . this i can live with :P Interestingly when i now unplug the MAF it runs exactly th...

Thats what i was wondering , also disconnecting the MAF to see if it sets on default and removes the problem :idea: . I just don't trust the codes as on other cars i have spent a fortune replacing good bits because the fault code said they were duff when in fact it was some other part failing and ca...

Probably more chance of an oscilloscope than either a MAF or TPS.
BTW the throttle position sensor is where the throttle cable loops onto the throttle yes? :oops:

Just a quick up date . car took me to work then when i went to park round the back no noise no start :x
later that day she took me home so :mrgreen: then refused to run again :(
so off to the factors £130 lighter :( new pump and no problems :mrgreen:

when i turn the ignition on loud rumble from the back seat area . (wife not in car :? )
went to start it yesturday silent from the rear wouldn't start .
now i have a loud noise from rear seat area and she starts and runs :lol:

So i'm guessing a new lift pump then ?
stupid question but this is the lift pump yes ? not the more expensive high pressure pump .
