Re: Fuel Pump Relay

I have been getting conflicting opinions on this one as i have phoned around. Some say no relay others split relay, fuel pump and others sensors.... The long and the short of it is that the most common fault is the pump, i read another thread that made me think "mine was doing that" when the writer ...

Re: Fuel Pump Relay

Thanks djp30djp, that will probrobally explain why i couldnt find one!! Does that therefore mean that the only thing that can be wrong with it is that the pump has died? This based on the fact that the car will turn over but not start and that i can not hear the pump running at all when i switch on ...

Oil Additives

Hi All, has anyone used an oil additive in there 406 TD? i have a bit of a noise when i get over 3000 revs which i can only describe as a pinking sound (if it was petrol). not sure if its just wear on the engine of something else but in the past i have put an additive in the oil which has tightened ...

Re: What is the correct operation of climate control and a/c

From my experience it was caused by th ere-circulation being on in the demist cycle.

I was told that it has a higher humidity level when in re-circulation mode hence the nisting up.

Once i had turned it off the problem was solved.

Central Locking Mystery

Well this one has flumoxed me.... The central locking works great when you lock the car via the key and lock but when you use the remote it locks then re-opens immediatly. I have tried the reprogramme sequence as described in earlier threads but it dosen't work. On the key fob there are two buttons ...
