changed the oil in the gearbox and the noise has gone and the gear change is silky smooth, while is was doing that also changed the oil in the engine what a differance that will teach me for skipping a service. you are right they have said bearing going to try changing the oil in the gear box can anyone point me in the right direction where the filler cap is on the gearbox on a 1.8 petrol engine on the d9 model please
