changed the oil in the gearbox and the noise has gone and the gear change is silky smooth, while is was doing that also changed the oil in the engine what a differance that will teach me for skipping a service. Normally have it done with the mot last year skipped it because only covered 6k not be do...

you are right they have said bearing going to try changing the oil in the gear box can anyone point me in the right direction where the filler cap is on the gearbox on a 1.8 petrol engine on the d9 model please

whinning noise in 3rd gear

anyone got any suggestions what the noise could be just started today when in third gear there is a whinning noise no lose of response but the noise goes away when i depress the clutch and not present in any other gear

Got the car back about 1 hr ago they have changed the cam belt and the water pump total bill came to £220 must have miss heard him when he told me the price last week was expecting more. Better than peugeot dealer they said £365 and they would have the car for the full day.
