Rather than the oil I'd be looking at the engine and gearbox mounts. Too much movement in between gear changes and it'll be pulling on the selector mechanism and reducing the effectiveness of your gear lever actions. ive got a felling your right welly.i will reply on the post if i get it sorted.the...

hi thanks for reply,when i changed clutch yes i did put new oil in gearbox.i went to local euro car parts (i think) he put my reg number in and he gave me the oil i remember it was mineral oil it wasnt synthetic or part synthetic what is best to put in? as im going to put some more in this week,i ca...

HI FOLKS,IVE FIXED THE PROBLEM.YES IT WAS THE PULLEY GOT 1 OFF EBAY FOR £44 IT WAS A FEBI MAKE ALSO REPLACED BELT AND TENSIONER DAYCO MAKE £47.THE JOB WAS REALLY EASY TO DO SO DONT BE AFFRAID TO DO IT YOURSELVES IF ANYBODY ELSE IS THINKING ABOUT IT.THE INFO ON HERE WAS REALLY HELPFUL.THANKS GUYS.

hi folks thanks for reply,i checked the drive belt when i stopped it wasnt frayed it is worn as i can see slight airline cracks in it.steve
