again thanks for that i think i have tried unpuging this but nothing happened, i wondered if there was a very easy way to put 12v onto the fans to see if they spin because i think all the relays cut in and out etc . i wondered if there could be a bad earth or something.

radiator fans

hi, could someone please tell me the simplist way to get 12v on to my fans to see if they run without having to strip them out of the engine the car is a 1.9td estate and has 2 cooling fans i think ive tried most things, cheers in advance for any help.

cheers mjb ive tried rotating the fans and they both move freely, i think all the relays work as the coil pulls in on them all and the normally open/ closed contacts work when coil is energised engine bay fuses are both ok. what is the easiest way to get 12v onto the fans without taking all the bump...

twin cooling fans

hi, the twin cooling fans on my 1.9 td (d8?) have stopped working i have checked the fuses and had the grill off and checked the 3 relays, and i think ive checked the sensor on stat housing, all seem ok is there a chance it could be a bad earth stopping them? thanks any help wud be great.

it has two cooling fans. are there any photos of engines on here as the picture in my haynes manual doesnt seem to look like my engine and where it says things are i dont think they are cheers

clock is so dimm

Hi just wondered if anyone can help, the clock in my car is very dim and at night i cant even see it. is a case of taking it out and fitting a new bulb or is the whole clock had it? thanks in advance
