finally got home, and checked the thermostat housing... well, the engineers must have been reaaaaly drunk, to put that thing there...
"the book of lies" says, that there is a drain screw on the engine block, but i can't find it anyone?
thanks a lot! :) in the service manual (not a Haynes 96-99, but another one 96-04) , that i have, are pictures of the thermostat position only of HDi and petrol engines, and a line under the pictures, that on each diesel model, the thermostat can be found on the upper left side of the cylinder head....
hi! can anyone tell me, where can i find the thermostat on this engine? is it here? http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/9053/2702092140.th.jpg because i unmounted the hose and inside it was empty... is it there (or was, and fell apart and stuck in the radiator) or simply i'm searching on the wrong place?
