well ive wired up a big igronant switch at the min to get me throught the snow but id like this fixed properly if anyone has any ideas other than buying another blower motor, ignition barrel etc...

Switchi wired is either full on or off lol

its getting the full 12v at the blower motor when everything is on.... ie fan and ignition. I did notice tho that when the fan is turned off on the dash and ignition is on, i still get 12v at the plug for the motor??? Is that correct?? Hi, been reading a few topics on this but cant find an answer to my problem. The heater blower just stopped working the other morning. Ive taken the blower motor out and wired it direct to a battery and i works fine. I have also changed the heater control module with another one i had. I am getting ...

Sunroof Drain Holes

Hi, After a rain shower, when im driving i hear a "gurggleing" noise coming from the sunroof. I presume that its the water not getting away properly through the drain holes. Can someone tell me how many there are and where exactly their at? Ive had a look but cant seem to find any. Car is a 1996 1.9...

changed the thermostat at the weekend there and everything is now working as it should :cheesy:

must say tho, noticed that the temp gauge doesnt ever seem to go above 75-80 degrees. Is this normal? Also their is hardly any heat coming from the vent below the windscreen but there is some heat coming from the vents on the dash. Car always was like this since i bought it (1 month ago) so this was...

Well, changed the radiator last night. What an absolute c**t it turned out to be!! Had all the coolant drained and pipes removed in about 10mins. Well all the pipes except for that fcuker on the lower drivers side :evil: The bloody thing had corroded to the rad. Took me 2 hours to get it off! I had ...

A good degreaser from halfords is what i use to remove brake dust from alloys. Just disolves it right off. then give it a rinse and bobs your uncle

Newbie

Hi,

Ive just bought my first 406 but ive been peugeot all my life. First car was a 205 Dturbo, then phase 1 306 d-turbo, phase 2 d-turbo, and now a phase 1 406 DT. Also have a 1.9 205 GTi parked up in then shed till spring.

Just thought id say hi

cheers for all the info lads! yeah i know all about making the expansion bottle. Its just the location of the bleed screw on the thermostat housing that im trying to find. hmmm... thats my problem you see, Ive read theres a bleed screw on the thermostat in some models but i dont know where the thermostat is :oops:
