why not on a hdi,i know someone who runs his 90 hdi on cooking oil

my 1999 110 hdi appears to be losing boost from the turbo ,all the intercooler pipes are ok with no leaks at all, but when you drive it you can hear it leaking. if you rev it up it sounds like its coming from the metal pipe that runs from the turbo (about 1 inch in dia) any ideas or is this normal

i work on london buses ,all they get is oil and filter every 3 months ,fuel filters every 6 months ,gearbox oil once a year ,no flushing at all
may be good ,maybe be bad but it keeps me in work

from what you are saying ,i must have a long belt on mine ,when i should have a short belt fitted

i replaced my old alt belt 2 months ago ,now it seems very slack ,the adjuster is new ,is there different lengh belts ,if so how do i buy the right one

my aux belt tensioner is very noisey ,i have ordered a replacement ,its the upper tensioner ,what tools do i need to replace it

tried a reset ,but did not help ,i am getting more faults everyday

i have a 99 110 hdi lx,my bsi unit is causing lots of faults ,mfd panel aways on,loosing speedo and tacho,etc ,etc
if i buy one from the same model can i just plug it in ,or does it have to be programmed by peugeot ,or can anyone do it

just to make matters worse, my alt belt snapped ,i can not work out witch way it goes on the pulleys ,its a 99 hdi with air con ,a picture or diagram would help alot .thanks steve

just checked the plugs on the bsi unit ,all ok ,nice and dry ,today i lost speedo and tacho again ,yellow engine light on dash ,but fault cleared itself in 20 seconds ,then parked the car up ,took key out and the display was still telling me its 11 degrees outside ,any ideas are very welcome help he...

its july 09 ,i have looked in the drivers side footwell ,there is no bsi unit,only a wiring loom to the rear of the car,but today when driving the car the mileage started flashing and engine light came on ,but only for about 2 minutes ,i could hear what sounded like a relay clicking behind the dash ...

what do i have to do to reset the bsi

just got out of my 1999 110 hdi ,keys removed from ignition ,then the stereo turned itself on ,dash lights flashing (mileage)on and off,speedo and tacho lights all flashing on and off , i turned the ignition off and on lots of times and it all went back to normal ,
any ideas what could cause this
