W Reg 2.0 110bhp HDI Bits for Sale

After a minor collison with some armco on the M4 slip road the other month, my 406 has already gone to the great scrapheap in the sky, as it was going to cost too much to fix it:( As I was clearing the boot out I've "located" a number of items that I'd been hoarding to fix those little nigglin...

Re: 2.0 110 HDi - Lack of power

My 2000 reg 110 HDI also had these symtoms and, after changing the vacumn solenoid on the bulkhead, there was no change. However I changed the Mass Air Flow meter (the one attached to the lid of the air filter box) and it cleared my problems, normal service resumed.

Re: ABS Sensor

Sorry guys, been away for a bit and didn't have time to reply. Thanks for the info/help and I'd nailed it down to it being both sensors on the near side, however... Had a bit of difficulty in getting the back one out, so it was off to the local garage as I was running out of time. Jobs all done now ...

ABS Sensor

Hey up guys, got another bl**dy warning light come up on the old D9 110 HDI (W reg), this time it's the ABS light that's come on and refuses to go out  Having looked through the various threads I'm looking at the fact that it's probably one (or more) of the sensors (reason for this is that the...

Try this thread, which details some of the problems you might get with water in the plugs in the driver's footwell, as well as how to fix it.

Re: keyfob

John, if I understand you correctly, you would seem to either be missing the actual switch on the circuit board or it's not working... If either of these are correct, you can get replacement switches as shown it the attached link, it all depends if you are handy with a soldering iron, or know someon...

D8/D9 Door Locks

Evening all, having a little problem with the rear off-side door lock mechanism on my W reg 110 HDI, every now and then (well ok, most of the time) there is a horrible graunching noise from the lock motor when I try to unlock the car, both on the remote and using the key method. This means that the ...

Rodders, if you are even in the slightest handy with a soldering iron, you can get replacement switches as shown in this thread viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7124&p=82311&hilit= ... tch#p82311

Hope this helps
