That may well be the culprit. Skipped two oil changes?

IMO even a work horse should get regular oil changes if nothing else.

When last were the plugs changed?

I usually start with the basics and work my way up from there.

Can you 'borrow' some injectors to try?

I see you haven't been overwhelmed by the response. What is the history of the car? Mileage? Has it been getting regular oil changes? If the oil pressure was low I would think that the ECU would warn you or shut the engine down to prevent damage. A garage should be able to check the oil pressure. Al...

I've had my car for 50k miles and I'v just realised that for various reasons I've changed the g/box oil 5 times. First time when I just got the car. Second time when i changed the speedo sender. Third two days later changed again as I wasn't happy with the gear change so changed to fully syn...

Mileage correction and converting from miles to kilometers

Foxy, or anyone that knows, after swapping the clocks EXACTLY how did you sort out the mileage ?? When I changed my clocks it added 30k to my mileage. This didn't really bother me at the time as I knew what the true mileage was, but now I want to sell the car and need to get it corrected. I still ha...

I think you can only replace the hub assembly. Are you sure the bearings are worn? sometimes the rear discs/pads can make a similar noise when the caliper is seized. Thing is I'm not sure its the bearings. The 'noise' I'm hearing is unlike other wheel bearing noise I've experienced. It's more prono...

Rear wheel bearings

What's the story with the rear wheel bearings? I believe the bearing cannot be bought seperate and you can only buy the rear hub complete. R970 each only from the stealership (approx 70pounds each). Is this just the French trying to be funny again. I haven't had a good look at the rear hub, but is i...
