Looking for some advice! Where is the MAP sensor on a '96 1.8 16V? I pulled a sensor out of the inlet manifold with a grey connector thinking it was the air inlet temp sensor, is this it? I will attempt to get another ECU. I did see one at a local breakers recently and didnt pick it up :( I will return there tomorrow morning and see if its still about. However i beleive i read in another post that you can unplug it(Lambda) and the ECU doesnt know any better, i did this and yet it still cut out as usual . So will unpluging the Lambda sensor make the ECU think its giving a normal reading?
