Re: Service book "extentions"?

I don't have it in front of me right now (I can check this evening) but I'm sure my service book says something like, if this book is full, ask your dealer for a new one. I assumed it would be free (if you're getting it serviced by pug).

Re: Got my new HPi today - some questions

I'm not too worried about them, they cleared immediately and I've been giving it some wellie today and they haven't come back. Can it be that the codes are stored in more then one place and when I reset the bsi it polled all the other ecus for any stored codes? Dunno, but apart from the fuel guage a...

Re: Got my new HPi today - some questions

Removed the pump/sender unit this morning and confirmed 2 things 1. That was definitely the source of the petrol leak, the pump/sender unit had been removed and the rubber ring / gasket wasn't seated correctly. Now sorted with a new gasket when I put it all back together. 2. The float arm was free t...

Got my new HPi today - some questions

Picked up my new 406 this evening, 2002 HPi Executive :cheesy: There were a couple of faults identified on the test drive and I've noticed a couple more since I picked it up, (I was happy as I got it for a song). 1. The fuel guage doesn't work. 2. The MIL was on and P0403 was stored. 3. There's a pe...

Wanted - foam spare wheel insert

You know the thing for keeping the jack, towing eye etc. in.

Local scrappy has become a "U-pull-it" and you actually have to buy the whole scrapper (mind you, you can then pull the whole thing to bits and cart it home.)

It's about time I said hello!

Location is Dunfermline, Real name is Alan, Age is irrelevant :cheesy: Car is a 1999 (D9) Hdi 90, 91k miles, runs like good 'un. In fact I'm ...
