Re: One of my wind shield wipers are not working

Well, I got the unit out and it looks like it's the part circled in that photo allright. I managed to crack my windshield in the process. I made a video of the part that's broken:

Re: One of my wind shield wipers are not working

Yes, removing it would be good....... that's if I can get the damn thing off! I took the big nut off but that thing is stuck fast. I tried using a claw hammer to pull the thing off but no joy. I'm afraid I'll do some more damage. Any tips on trying to get that bloody wiper off? Is the spindle suppos...

Re: One of my wind shield wipers are not working

Yes the wiper arm is loose on it's shaft..... I guess it is because I held the bad wind shield wiper and I moved it in synch with the good wiper and there was no resistance. How do I fix it?

One of my wind shield wipers are not working

Hi One of my wind shield wipers stopped working today. The other one is working fine. It's lashing rain and thank god it's the passenger side wiper that's stopped working and not the one on my side. I guess it has un-attached itself from whatever makes the wiper move. It looks like it wants to move ...

Where would I find the relay to the fuel pump?

Where would I find the relay to the fuel pump in a 406 1998, petrol, 1.8? My fuel pump is not working and someone suggested that I should check the relay. Thank you.

Can you help me locate 2 sensors?

Hi I need to locate 2 different sensors to test them. The 1st sensor I need to locate is a engine speed sensor. The second sensor is a crank sensor. This is my problem: when I change gear from 1st to 2nd, my car hesitates and looses power for a second or 2 and then drives normally, and then the same...

Problem starting in the morning

Hi It takes 8-10 turns of the key to start in the morning. Once I start it and turn the engine off there's no problem restarting it. Just first thing in the morning. The longer I leave it with the engine off, the harder it is to re-start. If I leave it for 4 hours it takes about 3 turns of the key t...
