thx, my radio doesn't have a code according to the manual as it is coded to the ECU so can't be used with another car. It also didn't need a code when the battery was disconnected for the work to get as far as the picture

Have done it - run wiring for seperate horn push in blanking plate over diagnostic socket and secured diagnostic socket behind dash with rest of fuse board. Horn works fine from the push button.
