thx, my radio doesn't have a code according to the manual as it is coded to the ECU so can't be used with another car. It also didn't need a code when the battery was disconnected for the work to get as far as the picture

Have done it - run wiring for seperate horn push in blanking plate over diagnostic socket and secured diagnostic socket behind dash with rest of fuse board. Horn works fine from the push button. BTW have found a source for the horn micro-relay (believe it is also used elsewhere) where they cost £4.9...

The above poster is correct - I don't have the ultrasonic heads at the pillars so cannot have interior sensors, however from my reading of the manual the button should also be there to allow override of immobiliser if RF key fob fails - i.e. open doors with key and then override immobiliser using bu...

Both the Haynes Manual and the handbook for my 2000(W) 406 HDi(90) Estate say that the alarm override button is by the handbrake, but mine isn't there. Searching the forums I have seen that on some it is by the drivers door (where mine has the diagnostic socket) so it isn't there. Is anyone aware of...
