Re: Hello again!

All sounds good to me!! Is this a DIY job or a job for the specialists? Is there a thread on this forum about it?

Hello again!

Hello all again! Seeing as it has been a long time since I have been active on this forum I feel it is only right to reintroduce myself! Reason for such a long layoff is down to a rather nasty split with the ex.... the little darling also took my beloved Pug. :x  Anyway, water under t' bridge ...

Done it!

Finally got the towbar on the car. Went on a treat - very easy to fit. Here is a little breakdown of how I did it... 8:30am bright & sharp on Saturday morning, texted gullible friend who just happens to be attending a mechanics course at the local college & explained that I, being such a good friend...

Re: (Newbie) Problem with the wipers!!!

Hi & welcome, I had a similar problem with the rear windows on mine when I first got it, just took the switch panel out of the drivers door & gave the underneath a good clean & hoover then wafted some WD40 over anything that looked electrical. Problem solved, rear windows work & lock button now oper...

Re: Hey there from Notts

Yes I did get some service history with it but not a full one. Pug stealership stamped up to 78,000 miles, old MOTs and a few reciepts mainly for tyres, service kits, etc... It had new front springs, new CV joints both sides & a full exhaust system including the CAT for it's MOT a week before I got ...

Re: Hi

Yep, the one with the pop up headlights (known as the ST182 - I think...! ). Also has air con 8) Pretty tidy apart from a very annoying paint blemish on the rear N/S wheelarch where the previous owner attempted to repair a deep scratch with a tub of polyfilla & can of model car paint by the ...

Hey there from Notts

Hey peeps, Just joined the site, looks good so far. I have recently bought a clean silver 1999 'S' reg 406 manual 2.0 16v GLX Estate for the princely sum of £900. This was to replace our beloved 1996 BMW 320i 6 cylinder Touring which sadly went to the great scrapyard in the sky after blowing the hea...
