Re: rear discs - with or without a wear sensor? 2003 2.0 HDI
cheers everyone, I found these on Ebay, I know they're not wonderful brands but the car doesn't do many miles and I'm only replacing the current ones due to rusting and pitting. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FRONT-REAR-BRAKE-DISCS-PADS-PEUGEOT-406-2-0-HDI-/370326108719?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&h...

rear discs - with or without a wear sensor? 2003 2.0 HDI
hi guys, I need discs and pads all round on my 2003 GLX 2.0 HDI 406, I went for prices and was asked if the rear had a wear sensor and this denotes which pads I need. Any thoughts on whether I do or not?! Also, what sorta prices should I be looking for for discs and pads? Sure this has been answered...

Immobiliser fault - symbol displayed 1st time I try to start
HI all I'm having a problem with starting the car. for the last few weeks the car has generally failed to start on first attempt. Most times that it fails it shows the immobiliser key symbol on the dash, but always turns over. If I remove and re-insert the key it starts no bother. I've searched and ...

Re: Does my MPG sound about right?
sounds about right to me, mine does about the same, though the boost is odd. mine is 1800-3000 ish and as others have said, will go above 3000 but runs out of puff shortly after.

Re: no radio reception
yeah I was a little concerned! Also the radio/headunit and cd player had been slowly dying for a while so wasn't surprised. Will check behind the light and go from there, ta

no radio reception
Hi all, recently my radio reception was getting worse and worse to the point that eventually I could receive no stations. I checked the connection into the back of the stereo and there was lots of white powder/corrosion on it. I've removed as much as I can and it seems nice and clean now but even wi...

Cheers will give that a go, failing that I'll try and check around the back of the stereo but I dread removing it as it was a pain to fit. Or I may just leave it and turn the dial myself ;)

Re: auto lights feature no longer works since installing ste
Hi cheers for the thoughts. I wondered if I maybe disturbed something as I had to get my hand right in at the back to pull the stereo wires through to make it sit in the cage properly.
How would I turn the auto back on if I'd turned it off at the stalk?

auto lights feature no longer works since installing stereo
Hi all, since I replaced my standard Peugeot stereo at the weekend with aftermarket unit my auto headlights feature has stopped working. The lights still work if I turn them on manually. Any thoughts? I wondered if it could be the red and yellow wires on the stereo (permanent and accessory?) being c...

lights dim briefly when changing gear?
Hi, I've noticed at night that for the first few miles my headlights dim slightly at the moment I change gear, it's only brief and only a slight dimming. After a few miles it stops doing it? Operating additional items such as rear heated screen, blowers, radio all together make no difference to the ...

Re: hdi110 fuel economy
my average so far as read from the computer is 42.8mpg I drive 6 miles to work at 30/40mph and then back again at night. I've driven a few 45 minute journeys in the last 600 miles that I'm taking the MPG from, but I'm pretty happy with anything over 40 considering the size of the car, that most of m...
